Bernadette A. Morris

Bernadette A. Morris is the consummate leader and a successful business owner. A devout Christian, wife, mother, and corporate executive, Bernadette is passionate about making the difference of a lifetime for her family, her creative team, and her clients nationwide.

Black PR Wire is a premier news distribution company for Black media in the United States and the Caribbean. Incorporated in 2000, BPRW has an extensive and impressive list of over 1,500 Black-owned media, media executives, community leaders, organizations and journalists. Black PR Wire delivers its clients’ press releases, video and audio releases, and electronic messages to key Black reporters, writers, and influential grassroots, social and civic community leaders throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Clients include Uniworld, Walmart, Business Wire, L’Oreal, Aspire TV, Honda, Coca-Cola, and a host of others.

Morris holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of North Florida. Prior to starting the firm, she served as Division Director of Public Affairs at Miami-Dade College. She has also enjoyed a successful career in broadcast journalism where she was a publicist for PBS/NPR and a producer of children’s programs. Bernadette is committed to community support and ministry projects. She serves on numerous boards and committees including Bethsaida by the Stream, Jesus People Proclaim, and Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Multicultural Marketing, among others. She provides pro bono services to various community groups and organizations. Bernadette and her husband have two young adults, Rebecca, a model and fashion designer in New York, and Stephen, a former professional athlete with National Football League, and who is currently a business executive.
